De Anza College,  with the support of the Gene Haas Foundation and a National Science Foundation grant, is pleased to announce a series of no-cost professional development courses for high school and college manufacturing, industrial technology and engineering faculty. No Cost to Participating Faculty.

Spring quarter we will be premiering Automation of CNC Processes, an intensive, two-day course that highlights Industry 4.0 applications of robotic automation in CNC machining with demonstrations, lab activities, and classroom-ready projects for your students.

Day 1 Topics

  • Set up and operate robotic arms
  • Mount workpieces on machine tools
  • Set single and dual axis positions

Day 2 Topics

  • Robotic palletization applications
  • Program arm at pendant & computer workstations
  • Utilize FANUC and UR simulation software
