PURCHASING TICKETS: Please purchase tickets in advance. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door the day of the show and they will be sold first come, first serve. An admission ticket is required for every seat. Tickets will not be mailed, they will be available upon check in when you arrive to the planetarium. Please provide your full name the tickets were purchased under to cashier (pending transactions from websites are not considered confirmations.)

TICKET PURCHASE POLICY: All sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Cancelled shows will receive an automatic refund.

PARKING: Parking permit NOT required through June 2024. Student Lot E is the nearest parking lot to Planetarium building.

Join Big Bird and Elmo on an unforgettable journey to the Moon and back!

When Elmo’s friend Hu Hu Zhu stops by Sesame Street for a visit, he notices that Sesame Street is a little bit different from his home in China. But when he looks up at the sky, he feels right at home. Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu may live in different cities, but they share the same sky!

With a little help from Big Bird, the two friends learn about the Sun, the Moon, and the Big Dipper, then blast off in an imaginary rocket to the Moon! Along the way, they invite the audience to sing along to songs about space and celebrate the sky that belongs to everyone.

Aligned with early elementary information skills learning objectives, this beautifully produced show is a winner with Magic Tree House fans of all ages.

This live-action fulldome program puts you on the deck of the voyaging canoe Hokule'a as you explore traditional Polynesian navigation. Learn how to read the stars and interpret the winds and waves to navigate without modern instruments. The film tells the story of the Polynesian Voyaging Society and the recovery of the nearly-lost art and science of traditional, non-instrument navigation in Hawaii.

This show will be an interactive immersion into becoming a Wayfinder. Unique to our regular programming, the full hour will including the fulldome program and opportunities to learn and pratice navigating the ocean using the skies.
