Simulation and robotic automation of CNC processes
Use of robotic arms and cell to automate part loading, unloading, turning, and toll and ficture changing. Featuring FANUC and Universal Robotics technology and workshops facilitated by industry experts

Day 1 Topics:
  • Set up and operate robotic arms
  • Mount workpieces on machine tools
  • Set single and dual axis positions
Day 2 Topics:
  • Robotic palletization applications
  • Program arm at pendant and computer workstations
  • Utilize FANUC and UR simulation software

This is an in-service professional development course for secondary and college educators sponsored by a National Science Foundation grant. Please check the De Anza community education division schedule of classes for offerings open to students and community members
