Birding and Nature Basics of Santa Clara County - 406

ClassGraphic Students will actively join in the fun with community members in learning all about field guides and utilizing binoculars to identify birds in Santa Clara County. Participants will also become acquainted with different categories of birds, methods used to identify them and step-by-step processes for quickly identifying bird characteristics for subsequent identification in field guides. Accompanying field trips provide students with an opportunity for guided fieldwork.
