Introduction to High School Probability & Statistics (Lawson Only)
Entering grades eight to 10 – This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of statistics and probability.  Students will learn how to design studies that produce useful data as well as how to analyze categorical data, how to display quantitative data with graphs and how to describe quantitative data with numbers.  Students will study sampling and surveys as well as experiments and techniques for analyzing studies wisely. Students will learn not only how to calculate the probabilities, but also how to interpret the results in plain language.
