TRIGONOMETRY, FUNCTIONS & APPLICATIONS
Entering grades nine and 10 – Recommended Prerequisites: Students have completed Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. Students will learn to convert to radians, find arc and sector lengths and study the preliminary six trigonometric functions. Students will use the terminal ray of an angle in standard position, graph the functions and use the unit circle. Real-world applications will be presented. Students should bring a pencil, eraser, small ruler, graph paper and TI-84 calculator daily.
