INTEGRATED ENGINEERING: Blending coding, hardware & prototyping tools (MILLER ONLY)
Entering grades six to nine – This course represents a cross-disciplinary approach to developing and applying engineering skills for the technical mind. Students will build a series of increasingly complex projects that require them to apply mathematical logic to the intersection of multiple coding languages, electronic hardware and rapid prototyping. Students will work with Arduino, transistors, microchips, 3-D printing, soldering, Python, C++ and so much more as they imagine and build their projects. This unique survey course in integrated engineering enhances critical thinking skills and logic development, and promotes math-based applications that set the foundation for high school and college math studies.
