Classroom Driver Education

« back to classes page
Driver Education is a four-day state-required course designed for students fourteen and older who are seeking to obtain their driver instruction permits.  This course is offered via partnership with local business, Economic Driving School. While students eighteen and older are not required by law to complete the Driver Education classroom course, doing so is the safest and most comprehensive practice.  There is no substitute for the student-teacher interaction, discussion, video analysis and instant feedback that takes place in the classroom.  This course meets the State of California requirements to obtain a driver’s instruction permit.  Behind-the-wheel training is not included in this course.
